      I had used Twitter before this class but I was not as active as I am with this account. By posting and replying to tweets, I am communicating with many more people compared to my other account where I mainly only like other tweets. One of the benefits of Twitter is you can contact people and companies in a non-formal way and in the public's eye so they may be quicker to reply. I haven't had any issues with Twitter recently but that's because I understood how to work Twitter before I started this account. If I had not had a Twitter I would be really confused on how to get around the app and what the difference was between quote-tweeting and commenting on a tweet.        The Web Design assignment helped me open up to using websites I may not be familiar with.      I made a video that could be shown to fourth or fifth grade science classes. It shows the growth of baby rabbits over their first few weeks. This video would be most beneficial in a unit about life cycles.

      I looked up my elementary school's  faculty web pages . Each teacher taught either third or fourth grade. I remember using them a lot in high school but I do not thing the elementary school had them when I was there so I wanted to see what an elementary school teacher would use a web page for. Every teacher's website had a schedule or a weekly update, a page linking them to helpful sites, and a page about the teacher. Some of the more organized teachers split up the helpful sites into several pages, one for each subject they teach. Each teacher also linked the school's weekly updat e somewhere on their site.       As a teacher, I would like to use technology to keep in touch with my students after school and on the weekend. This would consist of reminding them when assignments are due or letting them know if what were doing in class changes.       So far I like using Twitter more than I like blogging. I do not like that people do not reply to whatever I post. On Twitter, I can reach a lot more people and a lot of more people can reach me. I also do not like that people have to look up my blog if they want to read my posts. I feel like not many people will go out of their way to read what I am posting. I have learned how to blog and about what a blog should consist of but I have not learned about how the blogging community works.      The Web 2.0 tool I choose was YouTube because it was the only one I had not used in classes before. I have had teachers put videos on their website working out math problems but none of my teachers had actual YouTube channels. I found a channel called TeachingChannel that seems to be pretty popular and regularly shares or uploads videos.       On Twitter, I have mostly been interacting with different education technology twitters, as well other students in my class through the fsu2040 hashtag. I have not been using my twitter to learn as much about what is currently going on in the education field, but instead to see what other people in the education field are saying about different topics having to do with the field. I have found that a lot of us have similar thoughts. I think Twitter will be helpful in my future career when I am trying to find other teachers with similar problems I may be facing.       The  digital divide greatly affects students' success in school. If a class were to require their students to complete a project using technology, those who do not regular have access to technology will not be as successful as those who have access to technology all the time.
